Where You Can Play
Sweeps casinos run on a promotional model rather than a gambling licence, which is why they are open across most of the country. Four states are the exception.
The Four States That Are Blocked
Washington, Nevada, Idaho and California. Every site on our board blocks all four itself, and that block is applied at sign-up and again at verification. An account opened from one of those states will not clear the identity step, and a payout request will not be processed.
This is the operators’ own decision, taken on the advice of their lawyers, and it is applied consistently. We are not aware of a workaround, and we would not publish one if we were.
Everywhere Else
In the remaining states you can register, collect a free package and request payouts in the normal way. The age requirement is eighteen in most places and twenty-one at a handful of operators, which we note on each ticket.
What verification asks for
A name, a date of birth, an address and usually a photo of a government ID. Some sites add a selfie check. The whole process took minutes on the faster sites and up to two days on the slowest, and it happens once.
Travelling between states
Location is checked when you play, so opening an account in an allowed state and then logging in from a blocked one will normally stop play until you return. Treat the four blocked states as genuinely closed rather than as a technicality.
